Disponiendo de un adecuado registro histórico de caudales es posible ajustar una función de densidad de probabilidad (fdp) que permita estimar eventos asociados con un alto periodo de retorno (i.e. 100 años). En cuencas no-instrumentadas, como son la mayoría de cuencas en el mundo, se recurre a otras metodologías como por ejemplo el Hidrograma Unitario Sintético propuesto por el Servicio de Conservación de Suelos – USA (HU-SCS). Se evaluó el modelo HU-SCS en cuencas del departamento Norte de Santander (COL), en su capacidad para estimar caudales extremos, y explorar su posible regionalización. La evaluación se realiza mediante la comparación de estimaciones de Q100, mediante el método de Factores de Frecuencia y el modelo HU-SCS. Series temporales de caudal y precipitación se obtuvieron de la red IDEAM, seleccionando 19 cuencas en función de su área de drenaje, densidad de estaciones climatológicas y longitud del registro, caracterizadas geomorfológicamente utilizando ArcMap™ sobre el modelo digital de elevación ASTER-GDEM. Utilizando información disponible sobre geología, suelos, cobertura vegetal, y asumiendo una condición antecedente de suelo húmeda (AMC-III) se obtuvieron valores de la mediana del error relativo Q100 (ε-Q100) de +507% y +406%, para las fdp Gumbel y Log-Pearson. Para una condición antecedente de suelo seca (AMC-I) ε-Q100 bajo a +36% y +17%. Fue posible minimizar ε-Q100 mediante calibración del parámetro Número de Curva (CN). No se encontró una función de regionalización satisfactoria para CN. Aplicando SCS-HU para condición AMC-III se sobreestima en gran medida el Q100. Es posible minimizar el error al considerar AMC-I y reducir CN, situación contra-intuitiva pues caudales extremos se asocian con condiciones meteorológicas húmedas (i.e. Año Niña). The pozzolans were obtained by mixing red clay, commercial bentonite and residual aluminous sludge, from a drinking water treatment plant. Ceramic cubes were manufactured, which were sintered at 1100 ° C and subsequently, were structurally characterized by DRX, SEM and EDS. Its compressive strength was also evaluated before and after being subjected to different environments. The results showed that the relations with which the standards for nonstructural bricks according to NTC 4017 (100 Kgf / cm2) are maintained are those that contain 10%, 20% and 30% of mud with respect to the clay maintaining an aggregate of bentonite 10% with resistances of 123.62 Kgf / cm2, 112.90 Kgf / cm2 and 107.32 Kgf / cm2, respectively. The method used in this investigation is essentially ulti-criteria decision making, the technique for the order of preference for similarity to the ideal TOPSIS solution. Therefore, an evaluation of the maintenance system is carried out, using measurable collected in said company. With this evaluation the plastic injection machine is determined in better conditions, as well as the machine in worse conditions, which helps management to make better decisions regarding each machine. Objective: The article shows the implementation of an experimental prototype for the support of visual aid in the calibration of precision indicator lights by means of a drone to improve the approach slopes of aircraft. Method: In each of the experimental tests the following activities were developed: a) execute the program that contains the code to perform the process of emulation / calibration of the lights, b) connect the model of the lights to the Arduino and be connected to the portable equipment, c) perform the drone calibration process each time a flight plan is made, d) connect the mobile device to the drone’s remote control to integrate them into the wireless network (Wi-Fi), e) on the device mobile the application is executed to configure the flight plan and f) the emulation / calibration is performed with the model of the lights. Result: Obtain the best visibility angles according to the effective percentages of experimentation that indicate the accuracy of the experimental system proposed through a mobile application. In addition, this article proposes a methodology for the calibration of the Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) lights through wireless devices. Metastases in the spine can cause pain, instability and neurological injuries. Therefore, it is relevant to evaluate when critical conditions have been reached and the structural integrity of the bone is compromised. Numerical methods based on patient data, obtained through post-processing of medical images, provide a tool to model the complexity of the biological tissue material. Computed axial tomography (CT) together with segmentation tools allows the reconstruction of 3D bone models that include mechanical properties, and that represents the anisotropic condition of bone structures. Asphalt layers of the flexible pavements in Tunja city exposes daily to environmental temperature variations, which usually occur when the highest temperatures are reached during the daytime, and the lowest temperatures appear at night and early morning time. Firstly, this research is based , on the definition of the environmental temperature cycles that occur daily in Tunja City, from the analysis of the temperature series. Subsequently, the analysis was done through laboratory tests on an asphalt mix MDC-19 INVIAS type, made and compacted in the laboratory, to determine the influence of the cycles of environmental temperature on its density, stability and flow properties, during 120 daily and continuous temperature cycles, which consist of 12 hours of maximum temperature and 12 hours of minimum temperature to simulate the environmental conditions. As a result of this investigation, the presentation density is presented, presenting a tendency to increase the measurement that increases the temperature cycles and then a decrease in the briquettes of the mixture that have sometimes been until the last cycles. This article tries chromatographic signals from the urine of prostate cancer patients and control patients as a non-invasive examination proposal. For this purpose, methodologically, urine samples are taken, digitized in chromatograms, treated with mathematical techniques and classified. The mathematical techniques are time normalization, dead time elimination, baseline correction, noise elimination, and peak alignment. Classification techniques analyze energy, in the domain of time and frequency, and the main components in sedimentation graphs and scores. As a result, the chromatographic signal is characterized and identifies the characteristic curve that represents the signal of prostate cancer patients and control patients. The data structure shows a cluster distribution of 88.88% of the vectors for the control patients. In the case of prostate cancer patients, the distribution of data is in clusters around the area defined by control patients. According to the above, the investigation analyzed the effect of the recycled rubber grain added by dry process, in the rutting of an asphaltic mixture type MD-12, through the plastic deformation resistance test standardized by the Instituto Nacional de Vías INVIAS 2013. The analysis was carried out using the Marshall methodology with the design of an asphalt mixture conventional MD-12 and three MD-12 asphalt mixtures with variations in the addition of GCR, the preliminary designs and verification of each of the asphalt mixes as established in the general construction specifications of the Instituto de Desarrollo Urbano IDU 2011, obtaining the respective working formula of each asphalt mixture. Obtaining favorable behaviors in asphalt mixtures with addition of 0.5% of GCR in which there are decreases of up to 5.3% in the rutting, with respect to the asphaltic mixture of reference, also it highlights the improvements that the asphalt mixture presented in terms of resistance to plastic deformation or rutting, before the addition of rubber grain recycled by dry process, for this reason it is recommended to use it in asphalt mixtures type MD-12 as part of the fine aggregate and thus obtain a greater efficiency from the mechanical point of view, as well as the improvements in the useful life of the pavement and the mitigation of the environmental impacts generated by the mishandling of tires out of use in the country.</p> 2019-01-01T00:00:00-05:00 Derechos de autor
