Abstract

This study addresses the problem of labor informality in the municipality of San José de Cúcuta, analyzing government management in the process of formalization of informal workers during the period 2020-2023. The research highlights the multiple dimensions of informality and its effects on the economy and society, as well as the underlying causes that perpetuate this situation. Through a qualitative approach, an evaluation of the government actions implemented is proposed and strategies are designed to promote labor formalization.
