Publication format: Electronic in Open Acces, under the Creative Commons license.

Publication frequency: From 2006 to 2011 the journal got an annual frequency. From 2012 to 2018, the journal starts a semestral fequency. Since 2019 the journal maintains a quarterly periodicity: January-April, May-August, September-December.

Open access policy:This journal provides open access to its content, based on the principle that providing the public with free access to research helps to increase the global exchange of knowledge. The journal Science & Care does NOT charge for the processing of articles. 

Archive: This journal uses the LOCKSS system to create a filing system distributed among collaborating libraries, allowing them to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.

Similarity policy: CIENCIA Y CUIDADO uses Turnitin software to detect cases of plagiarism and similarity in the ubmitted manuscripts.
