Experiencia de profissionalização em assistentes de enfermagem

Resumo

Objetivo: Descrever a experiencia de transição do treinamento de assistentes de enfermagem como profissionais de enfermagem. Materiais e Métodos: Estudo descritivo exploratório qualitativo, onde a entrevista não estruturada foi utilizada como método de coleta de dados. Os participantes eram enfermeiros que haviam sido anteriormente assistentes de enfermagem e estavam atualmente trabalhando. A amostra foi obtida por saturação teórica. As entrevistas foram gravadas, transcritas e analisadas utilizando a técnica de análise de conteúdo. Resultados: 16 enfermeiros foram entrevistados. Três categorias emergiram das histórias: percepções da experiencia de treinamento, onde o contexto universitário e o encontro com os cursos teóricos e práticos são abordados; facilitadores no início do processo de treinamento em que os acordos, perdas e negociações para poder estudar são recontados; e tornar-se enfermeiro, onde o caminho para assumir um novo papel profissional e discutido. Conclusões: A experiencia de transição no processo de profissionalização dos auxiliares de enfermagem representa um verdadeiro desafio que envolve e afeta não apenas o indivíduo, mas também todo o seu circulo profissional, familiar e relacional próximo, e onde o caminho percorrido contribui para modificar os imaginários do auxiliar e do profissional de enfermagem ate que eles adquiram o novo papel.
