El modelo de Respuesta a Preguntas (Q&A) para eLearning se basa en el aprendizaje colaborativo a través de preguntas que plantean los estudiantes y sus respuestas a esas preguntas dadas por sus compañeros, en contraste con el modelo clásico en el que los estudiantes hacen preguntas únicamente al profesor. En esta propuesta ampliamos el modelo Q&A incluyendo el concepto de presencia social y se propone una medida cuantitativa del mismo; además se considera la evolución de la red social de preguntas y respuestas resultante tras la inclusión de la presencia social y teniendo en cuenta la retroalimentación sobre las preguntas planteadas por los estudiantes y respondidas por los compañeros. El comportamiento de la red social se simuló utilizando un sistema multiagente para comparar el modelo de presencia social propuesto con el modelo clásico y el de preguntas y respuestas.
