FOCUS AND SCOPE

PROFUNDIDAD CONSTRUYENDO FUTURO SCIENTIFIC MAGAZINE edited by the Faculty of Administrative and Economic Sciences of the Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander Ocaña, is an open-access publication whose purpose is to create a space for discussion and plural exchange in the scientific field, not only at the Colombian level but also in the Latin American and world context with biannual periodicity. Likewise, a scenario of investigative and theoretical convergence in the face of scientific knowledge and work in the area of Social Sciences focused on the following disciplines: Administration, accounting, economics, pedagogy, and business promotion, social and solidarity economy, entrepreneurship, local development , finance , technology, and innovation, where THE ARTICLES ARE SUBMITTED AT NO COST FOR PROCESSING, in the same way, in Spanish or English to the journal according to the typologies of research, reflection and review, for subsequent review by blind peers, prior compliance with the code of ethics -COMMITTEE ON PUBLICATION ETHICS (COPE - COMMITTEE ON PUBLICATION ETHICS). Once the editorial process of each manuscript is finished, it will be published in the archives section according to the corresponding volume.

PEER REVIEW

Manuscripts accepted in the Scientific Journal will be reviewed under the "double-blind" modality where the identities of the evaluators will not be known by the author and, in turn, the peer reviewers will not know the identity of the author(s), with the aim of not carrying out inappropriate practices and, in turn, maintaining impartiality in the evaluation. Manuscripts accepted to start peer review are submitted by at least two external referees (national or international) with academic and research suitability and expertise in the area, providing quality and clarity assessments of the proposed scientific article. There will be the participation of a third referee or peer reviewer if any of the evaluations is negative or when no response is received from any of the peer reviewers after fifteen days. 

The results of the evaluations issued by the referees will define and communicate to the authors any of the following responses:

• ACcepted:the work will be published and only spelling and style adjustments will be made to it.
• ACCEPTED WITH ADJUSTMENTS:the work will be published when the authors present and/or support the adjustments suggested by the evaluators; The Editorial Committee and/or the peer reviewer (if it deems it necessary), will decide if they are accepted or not.
• rejected: The work is not recommended for publication.

TYPOLOGY OF ARTICLES:

• INVESTIGATION ARTICLE: Complete document that presents in detail the original results derived from completed research or technological development projects.
• REVIEW ARTICLE:Research result document where the results of published or unpublished research in a field of science or technology are organized, analyzed, and integrated, to account for progress and development trends. It is characterized by presenting a careful bibliographical review of at least 50 references.
• REFLECTION ARTICLE: Original document that presents research results from an analytical, interpretive and critical perspective of the author, on a specific topic, using original sources.

RETRACTIONS AND ERRATA OF PUBLISHED ARTICLES

The retraction registration procedure for a published article begins after receiving formal written communication from the editor of the Profundidad Construyendo Futuro Scientific Journal. Finally, in the electronic version, a justified message from the editor will be published. It is clear that the original PDF remains, but the retraction text will be observed. 

MAGAZINE HISTORY

The Profundidad Scientific Magazine of the Faculty of Administrative and Economic Sciences of the Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander Ocaña has published its first edition as of the first (I) semester of 2015 with a semiannual periodicity. As of the second semester of 2020, a new editorial committee and editorial board will be incorporated.
