Self-evaluation of the curricular aspects of the Systems Engineering program Autoevaluación de los aspectos curriculares del programa Ingeniería de Sistemas

Abstract

The Systems Engineering Program of the University Francisco de Paula Santander Ocaña in order to get the qualify register; have presented a document of Mínimum Quality Requirements, where are established the mínimum standards required by the National Council for Accreditation. One of the standards discussed in this document, analyze the core curriculum, which are composed of, training areas, training routes, course content, skills and research lines. The work presented here claims to make a six-monthly review of the currículum, showing  different levels evaluation, such as students, faculty, alumni and administrative belonging to Systems Engineering currículum. This is an information system that allows registering the evaluation results made by different levels. Additionally, through out a decision-making system, the information is analyzed to launch a diagnosis of current status of these issues and provide alternative solutions to possible founded problems.
